Review Entry-2 Picnik

Well, I think Picnik deserves a 4 out of 5!

I've used picnik before and thought it was really good. My opinion hasn't changed.

Pros
Auto fix really good.
Has a Straighten feature in Rotate.
When resizing you can keep the proportion.
A lot of pretty advanced features to be free.
Not a community
Really Really easy to get your picture saved to your computer.
Very user friendly, easy to use.

Cons
Can only upload one picture at a time.
No auto syncing.
Some features are only available if you upgrade for $24.95 a year (this could be a pro, but we're dealing with free picture editors.)

Basically I advise everyone get account even if you have Ps.

Below are the pictures I used to test.

Auto fixed.

Auto fixed, sharped and upped the exposure.

Auto fixed, straighten, and upped the exposure.

Upped the exposure.

Auto fixed, sharped and upped the exposure and contrast.

Review Entry-1

In one of the comment sections, Np pointed out a really interesting link.

Which can be found here.

Well, I've decided to examen each and every single one of the sites shown, and a few others I happen to know of. I have no idea how often I'll post the reviews, but I'll try one a week for now.

So now, I'll show you my test pictures.

These are the ones I'll be using to examen the sites.

I've split the pictures into 5 categories..

Portrait,

Macro,

Night,

Landscape,

and Black and White.

Now each one of these pictures are straight out of camera no post editing what so ever.

The first two were taken with my 50mm. While the Night and Landscape were taken with my 18-55mm. The Black and White was taken in camera and shot with the 50mm.

I'll be reviewing Picnik first.

New links

I've added new links to my side bar, but as you may have noticed they're at the top. This group of links are solely dedicated to being new.....(to me). Basically if I find a website or a blog its going up in the new link section. So....I thought I' d explain what each link was.

Camera Labs- This site is really cool manly because they have video reviews, but its basically a review site based in the UK.

Diy Photography- Now this blog is really really cool, it show you lots of tips on different photo technique's and there's lots of DIY photography stuff. (consequently I think this one's also based in the UK.)

Strobist- Its kind of like the Diy photography.

Tominthebox News Network - Religious Humor/Satire- Well, I can't really explain this blog, but if your in to Christian politics you'll really like this blog. Also, the writers at TBNN make their points through the use of satire.

Man! I just used the word "really" way to much.

Well, I hope you "really" like the links?
