Leather Tools 1: Swivel Knife

I've decided to do another week long series.


I'm going to tool a simple flower, so you can see how each tool works.

1. Drawn Pattern. (in pencil)

2. Then wet the leather on both sides (front and back).


3. Hold the swivel knife (by the barrel) in between your middle finger and thumb. Then place your pointer finger in the yoke. (yes it's really called a yoke)


4. Make sure your knife is tipped forward.


5. The flower completely cut.

Now it can be beveled.
