Hilltop

Went shooting in the field again.
After I jumped back over the fence and was getting ready to pull back out on to the highway, some older guy pulled behind my car so I couldn't back out. He got of his car and started walking towards me, so I got out. He proceeded to ask me what I was doing in a somewhat gruff manner. I replied that I was taking pictures of the field. He replied "Why would you do that?"
I said just because. He told me to stay out of the field and that I didn't need to back there.
I told him I would stay out. Then he said He didn't mean to be smart on accounting he didn't own the field and didn't know who owned it. Then he left, got in his car and drove off. Kind of aggravated, I missed my turn to turn around. So I had to drive a little ways till I got to a gas station to turn around. On my way back home I passed him on the side of the road around the area I had been. I'm pretty sure he was waiting to make sure I didn't come back.
Now, as I drove home a few things passed thought my mind.
But the main though was, why do I shoot photography? I've never really ever thought about it before. I wish I had had a great answer to his question but I didn't. So to him I looked like a dumb kid looking to get in to trouble. O well, lesson learned. I guess I won't be hopping fences any time soon.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it wasn't worth it.
Posts here, here, here, and the picture above was taken at the field.

Hey,
Be careful our there buddy. You don't know what you can come up on,
this is the south, some strange stuff could be going on. I noticed the old barn, he may have been afraid
you would get out there and get hurt. Always let your mom and dad
know where you are going, listen
to me, I sound like a mother, haha
guess that's because I am. We love
you Brian, don't want to see anything happen to you.
Stay safe, be cool
Mrs. Jennifer
What a story. I can't say that's ever happened to me, and I hope it never will. I can't believe people are out there that don't understand why photographers take pictures of awesome fields!
I know right.
